The most powerful obstacle in the path of success is the fear of failure. But what exactly is failure? Do we understand it correctly? In his motivational book An Interview with Failure, Sam Yankelevitch analyzes the notion of failure through a fictional interview in a podcast. By personifying failure as being interviewed by Robin, a thorough discussion unfolds the idea of failure from a new perspective. Failure is the opposite of success, and success can be visualized differently for different people. It can be wealth, health, fame, family relations, reputation, or learning. The measure of success depends on expectations and goals, making it a matter of perspective.

Failure is just a word associated with fear, shame, humiliation, incompetence, and defeat, which lead to hesitation in taking the first step to success. Failure should be redefined and interpreted differently—as a tool to avoid believing in perfection, remorse, and guilt. False expectations, high goals, and waiting for perfect conditions to start have a negative impact on achieving success.

The author's approach to the subject is brilliant. The idea that all f-words are not bad and citing some good words like friendship, faith, and feeding is interesting and inspiring. Words generate thoughts and beliefs and inspire actions, and it is important to contemplate the meanings of words and interpret them differently.

In addition to the fictional interview, the author has separately discussed his views on success and failure, the demarcation, our perspective, and the concepts and ideas instilled in one's mind since childhood by parents, teachers, and other adults. Our words and thoughts decide our actions, so positive thinking and redefining success are important to overcome the fear of failure. It is a well-edited book and quite interesting. I do not have anything negative to say about the book, and I rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

If failure were a man, feared and misjudged by people, how would he justify himself and try to explain his take on success? The idea of personifying a concept is unique and amusing. The book inspires people to have a positive attitude towards life, and I would recommend it to those who are willing to achieve success but are apprehensive about failure.
